Sum 41 & The Interrupters at Moda Center

An era is coming to an end but before you bid goodbye to the most rip-roaring pop punk band in the history of rock music, you can definitely look forward to an excellent summer season! Sum 41 may be going out but they’re not going away quietly! They’re here to celebrate their last outing with a bang and it’s promised to be louder than ever! The Grammy-nominated powerhouse is hitting countless major cities this 2024 for their Tour of the Setting Sum! The all-arena and amphitheater trek (with a few theater appearances is bringing the latest album, Heaven X Hell, centerstage. The groundbreaking new effort spawned several notable tracks, “Landmines,” “Rise Up,” and “Waiting on a Twist of Fate,” among others. Consequently, this effort is the band’s last legacy before their eventual disbandment. Hence, Sumer 41 made sure that this record became their most ambitious effort to date. A double album, Heaven x Hell is divided into pop punk and heavy metal - two genres that defined the band’s outstanding sound.

Besides new staples Heaven X Hell, Sum 41 is also anticipated to cover iconic singles and crowd favorites from their earlier releases. The band has released a total of eight monumental studio efforts, including their breakthrough debut album, All Killer No Filler, and their first record to go number 1 in their home country of Canada, The Underclass Heroes. With a vast catalog and numerous hits released in a span of 23 years, this year’s setlist is anticipated to be plentiful, with a hefty amount of new and old staples. Some of their already culminated spring shows had fans banging their heads non-stop. The spring leg of the Tour of the Setting Sum setlist contained over 20 songs each show, including a stunning encore. The band also performed a few iconic covers from other renowned artists, giving fans a truly diverse punk rock and metal extravaganza.

This summer, Sum 41 brings along the sensational ska-punk outfit The Interrupters. The band is also set to cover their decade's worth of catalog as they cover songs from their self-titled debut effort all the way to their latest album, In the Wild. Expect iconic hits like “She’s Kerosene,” “Gave You Everything,” “Kiss the Ground,” and more as they provide support for Sum 41 on this highly coveted summer run.
