Even In Arcadia Tour

The Moda Center here in Portland’s Rose Quarter are so excited to welcome Sleep Token to the stage as a part of their Even In Arcadia Tour this October, on Wednesday the 11th. With seventeen shows planned for all of North America and even more around the globe, we are pumped to have the English men for a once in a lifetime night this Autumn. 

Sleep Token is a walking (and mainly singing) conundrum. They’re completely anonymous, though over the last decade they have completely dominated the new age heavy metal scene - combining the genre with covers of hit classics (like Outkast’s Hey Ya and Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody) and ethereal sounds that are reminiscent of Rufus Du Sol. They have taken over the European and English post metal sound - winning big at the Heavy Metal Awards and Billboard Music all without anyone knowing their names. They sell out shows in minutes, and we expect that same energy for the Arcadia Tour. 

Speaking of selling out shows - it may be obvious, but Sleep Token has a totally different vibe in their live performances compared to just listening to their music in your speakers. Always ethereal and always powerful, their live shows have an energy that sucks you in right away. Going for at least an hour and a half each show they grace us with - their lights are magnificent, the back up singers and talent are on point, and yes - the masks do indeed stay on, if you were curious. Fans and die-hards have said online “I will never be the same again. I can't even express myself correctly as a musician, as a fan...attending my first ever Sleep Token concert, with my wife! WORSHIP!” and things like “Took my 76 year old grandad to the Glasgow show. My first seating heavy gig, and his first. He was blown away by the lights, taking videos all night. It was a truly special night for me and it means a lot. Ruined everyone around me’s night by singing every word, but…YOLO,”. So - will you YOLO with us in October for their Portland show?
