Nathaniel Rateliff and his band, The Night Sweats, are back on the road! Kicking off an awesome international tour in 2024, the iconic singer-songwriter hailing from Denver just announced another string of tour dates for 2025. After the holidays, the man's folk-rockin' tunes are making their way back to the live stage. In support of his new album "South of Here", Rateliff looks forward to share his big hits and most vulnerable songs yet with the live crowd.
Since releasing the LP's first single "Heartless" fans have gone crazy, hooked on the man's new tracks that reflect on his journey and growth over the years. With his trusted band, he's gone against the odds, and proudly came out on top. Looking back at anxieties, challenges, insecurities, and deep dives into his life experiences, it sure is one heck of an eye-opener.
Produced by Brad Cook, Rateliff credits the man for his great contributions in making the album dive deeper into the narrative of his own life. A follow up to the the man and The Night Sweats' "The Future" released in 2021, it shows how much the man and his band has grown for the better.
"Brad was a great producer to write alongside. This album is a look into my own struggle with anxiety, insecurity and also stories of my life," Rateliff shared in an official release. "He encouraged me to take responsibility for my own narrative in the songs and to write about what’s happening in my own life,"
With songs that hold a special place in his heart, it tells the tale of how he found light after dark days. "I hope these songs and stories give you an opportunity to better understand your own struggles whatever they may be," he added.
