Landing at the Moda Center on Saturday, September 21st, confessional indie icon Mitski is swirling to Portland with her emotion-filled “The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We Tour.”

This innovative artist is taking her talents on the road, and we can’t wait to see them live! Fans of the sentimental songstress will be thrilled to hear that she’s added fifteen more dates to her August and September shows, which are reported to feature special guests Lamp, Laufey, Alvvays, Arlo Parks, Ethel Cain, and Wyatt Flores.

“In our efforts to make the show experience extra special, we found beautiful, seated theaters to play over multiple nights, rather than one giant venue per city, in the hopes of offering a more intimate experience to the audience,” Mitski wrote on Instagram.

Over the years, the American-Japanese recording artist has been known for her honest verses and dynamic approach to indie-rock. While pursuing a degree in studio composition at Purchase College's Conservatory of Music, she independently launched her initial two albums, Lush and Retired from Sad, New Career in Business. Recently, she received the title of Guardian's "Best Young Songwriter" while simultaneously earning an Academy Award nomination for co-writing "This is a Life."
