Hailing from Michoacan, the star was just 12 years old when he formed his first group (Los Hermanitos Solís) with his brother Joel. And the Mexican sensation was still only a teenager when he formed the five-times GRAMMY winning group Los Bukis in the early seventies. As well as working with Los Bukis for the next two decades, Marco Antonio Solís took a leap and kickstarted a hugely successful solo career. In the mid nineties, he clinched platinum certifications for history-making albums like Quiereme, Inalcanzable, and Por Amor a Mi Pueblo. At the turn of the new millennium, Marco Antonio Solís ushered in the new era with a two-volume live set, En Vivo, and its follow up, En Vivo, Vol. 2. His next studio album, Mas de Mi Alma, landed in 2001 and, just like his previous solo record, it became a best-seller and crowd pleaser.
