Don Omar, otherwise known as "El Rey" and "King of Kings," is celebrated around the world as one of the first reggaetonero superstars, thanks to his debut LP, 2003's platinum-certified The Last Don. Unlike his urbano peers, Don Omar has created his own brand of Reggaetón music. His socio-political lyrics are set in melodic verses and hooky refrains. Hailing from Villa Palmeras in Puerto Rico, Don Omar has recently announced that he’s extending his critically acclaimed Back To Reggaeton US Tour for a second leg! The trek kicks things off on August 7 in Oakland, California, and makes its way to Portland’s esteemed Moda Center on August 11. Don Omar’s Back to Reggaetón Tour has been so epic that it has grossed a staggering $17.8 million and sold a whopping 146,000 tickets over its first 14 shows.
