Can there be any better feeling in the world than thousands of people growling “Oh-wa-a-a-ah!” together, fists in the air, impassioned and on fire - people who want to get up and get down with the sickness, 25 years after the song dropped?
Absolutely not.
And Portland, you can prepare to be pleased to the max. One of the most important alternative metal bands of the past three decades is headed your way this spring! That’s right - Disturbed is slated to shred at the Moda Centre on 7 May 2025 with their ‘The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour’, supported by special guests Daughtry and Nothing More!
The tour is set to see the iconic band performing their multi-platinum seminal debut album in its entirety, together with a second set of greatest hits from the rest of their catalog - a whole lot of bang for your buck!
Tickets are priced to go from only $69 and are already flying faster than Dan Donegan’s fingers over a fretboard, so snag up those tickets right now before they’re gone!
Metalheads everywhere are pretty much ready to raise the horns, headbang themselves into oblivion, and maybe jump into a mosh pit or two with Disturbed’s ‘The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour’. The band is slated to bring the positive power of live music to 34 major venues, kicking off in Nampa, Idaho, and wrapping it up in Las Vegas.
When ‘The Sickness’ dropped in 2000, spawning singles such as ‘Down with The Sickness’ and ‘Stupify’, and catapulting Disturbed into stardom, we all caught the sickness and can’t, or rather, don’t want to shake it. The album peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200, selling over 4 million copies in the United States alone, achieving a five-times platinum certification. To date, Disturbed has sold over 17 million albums globally and achieved no less than six RIAA certifications for their albums, with singles from each reaching the top ten of the Mainstream Rock chart. Disturbed ranks alongside Slipknot and Godsmack as one of the most successful rock bands of the 21st century. Their award shelf is groaning under the weight of multiple awards, including three Grammy Award nominations, four Loudwire Music Awards, two Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award nominations, a Billboard Music Award nomination, and a Revolver Golden Gods Award nomination.
It’s very clear: Disturbed is pretty much unstoppable. They’re one of those bands you simply don’t miss.
From the haunting strains of ‘The Sound of Silence’, which got Disturbed their first entry into the Billion Views Club, to pounding drums, thunderous riffs, and music peppered with explosive instruments, Disturbed is a sonic experience where time stands still, the music exists, and people unite because of the shared experience of simply being alive.
Grammy Award nominee Daughtry, who brought the world smash hits such as ‘It’s Not Over’ and ‘Home’, is set to support Disturbed on tour together with San Antonio rock band Nothing More.
Imagine "ten thousand fists" in the air at Portland’s Moda Centre, hearts pounding and souls resonating. The venue has it all: concession stands with beer to quench the thirst and delicious food to give some sustenance, and a seating capacity between 13,000 and 19,000, depending on the concert setup.
So, what are you waiting for? Follow “the light,” and get your tickets now!
