Moda Center at the Rose Quarter
If you want to see a true hip-hop show filled with up-and-coming talent at the Moda Center, then mark Wednesday, the 25th of September 2024, on your calendar. That’s when Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is going to be bringing his Better Off Alone Tour to Portland, Oregon. The tour’s named after Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s latest studio album, which he’ll likely be promoting heavily throughout the show.
This date at the Moda Center actually fits perfectly with the “Better Off Alone” mantra. Other dates on the tour are going to feature opening acts with some of the very young faces in the hip-hop world, like NLA Choppa and Luh Tyler. However, on this date in Portland, Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is, in fact, going to be better off on his own. None of the habitual opening acts are confirmed for that date. This doesn’t mean there won’t be opening acts, so it’s still worth it to head to the Moda Center early. Click the get tickets button to save yourself a seat!
It’s going to be really interesting to see how this show plays out in the Moda Center. Since there are no scheduled opening acts that could play in your favor that night. Maybe A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is going to be out on stage for longer. Doors are at 8 pm, which is a very decent start time for the show, particularly on a Wednesday. You don’t want to be having to scramble to get from work to the Moda Center. Since it’s a weekday, that could’ve contributed to the fact the habitual opening acts won’t be there that night.
One thing’s for sure: When the opening beats to “Look Back at It” start playing that night, you can expect the crew to dim the lights. You’ll probably be able to experience some of the loudest screams of the concert right then and there. That song, which is his most popular track on Spotify, exemplifies him as an artist perfectly. While he’s very much one of the brightest up-and-coming stars in hip-hop, he’s not afraid to move off some of the traditional sounds of the genre. He’s even experimented with some classical music beats. The R&B influence is also something that he cannot deny!
This event at the Moda Center is going to be a much “smaller” setup than usual. What they’re going to do is just open up one side of the arena. The stage will face that one side and other seating options won’t be available. At the same time, the seats on the top deck are not currently open. Those could eventually get the green light if tickets start selling fast. The reason why it’s important to know this is because you may be thinking that the Moda Center is massive and that perhaps someone like Boogie Wit Da Hoodie won’t get that many people in the seats. So you could buy your ticket at the last minute, right? Guess again! This event features limited seating options. That means that if you don’t act fast, you could be outside looking in on September 25th. If you want to be a part of the “Better Off Alone Tour,” hit the get tickets button.
