John Legend and his wonderful four-piece band will be kicking off their very special “A John Legend Christmas” tour early December 2024 in Highland, California, visiting 11 of the most acclaimed venues across the United States before wrapping up just before Christmas in Hanover, Maryland.
Audiences will be treated to moments of storytelling about John Legend’s career, his life with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and their four children, alongside a special selection of songs from his seventh studio album and first Christmas, “A Legendary Christmas”, many of which are reimagined classics such as “Please Come Home for Christmas”, “Silver Bells”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On an Open Fire)”, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”, “Purple Snowflakes”, and the John Lennon Christmas classic, “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”, alongside some originals from John Legend’s own pen.
The amazing Moda Centre, located in the Rose Quarter of Portland, is the perfect venue for a Christmas celebration for the books. The venue's seating capacity ranges from 13,000 to 19,000 depending on the setup, and with a full curtain set installed for “Theatre of the Clouds”, the venue sports up to 3,000 general admission seats. An additional 6,500 seats will be available if the party suites and skyboxes are used.
