Benson Boone started pursuing singing seriously after attending a Jon Bellion concert, and started posting clips of himself singing on TikTok. He also auditioned for the 19th season of American Idol, but withdrew from the competition to focus on career and make a name for himself. Shortly after, he amassed 1.7M + followers on TikTok, and caught the attention of Dan Reynolds who signed the young artist to his label. His debut single “Ghost Town” charted on the Billboard Hot 100, and further grew in popularity after some TV performances. 

Since then, the young star has captured the hearts of listeners around the globe. In 2024, he released his debut LP “Fireworks & Rollerblades,” which featured his hit single “Beautiful Things.” The track received a 5x Platinum certification and hit #2 on the Hot 100, and charting at #1 in several other countries. With a crazy-viral backflipping performance at the MTV VMAs, he sure is an irresistible force in the industry. From musical teasers in 2001 to chart-topping hits today, he sure has come a long way real fast. 

Set to release his second full-length album “American Heart” this June, it’s bound to be a hot summer with Benson Boone. Known for his fiery energies and confident self, this star is set to win your hearts all over again. 

“I think I’m getting to the point where I just want people to know that there’s more than just that song,” he told Rolling Stone on life after his mega-hit single “Beautiful Things.” While the 22-year old artist says he still love and is immensely proud of the song, he hopes the feeling sticks around and the world can see that his passion for music doesn’t stop at one hit. Proving that he’s got what it takes through many hits from his last album, “American Heart” is bound to have all of you surprised.

“It  all started with me believing in the song ‘Beautiful Things.’ Now, I have a whole album just about ready to go — and I’ve never believed so much in a body of work,” he told Rolling Stone.
